For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also

Luke 6:38 New International Version (NIV)

38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Until our Donate button goes live please transfer your Giving directly into your chosen Church’s bank account: Please mark who it is from especially if we can claim gifted back on it.

During lockdown the roles of volunteers are mainly around:

joining in with our online life of worship and discipleship together.

Some times it is just better if you meet us in person (or in virtual person under lockdown!), to talk about how you would like to connect and engage with us.

We believe that everything which we have, including our finances, is a gift from God.

Paul says in 2 Corinthians  “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV).

When we give God our tithes and our offerings, when we give to those in need, when we give of our time, our love, our resources God promises us his blessing ‘a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over’ - what I call Cafetiere Blessing!

When you give through our  Heart and Anchor website  to St Clement’s or to St Augustine’s you are helping us sustain our ministry through this time of lockdown, when we are obviously not receiving our weekly offering through envelopes and cash on the plate. You are also helping us to grow our ministry as we develop our online presence, and stay connected so that when we come back together we will be stronger not weaker, reflecting our journey together through this time of trial

Thank you to those of you who have been giving faithfully and sacrificially for some time. Thank you to those who are considering  how you can respond in this new situation.
