Come and discover the history, heritage and beauty of St Clement’s Church, a Grade II* listed building in the heart of Bradford, as part of Heritage Open Days. Step inside this historic place of worship and explore a building that has been at the centre of the local community for generations. Take time to admire the fascinating architecture, uncover stories from the past, and learn more about the people, events and traditions that have shaped the church over the years. Whether you have a passion for history, an interest in local heritage, a love of architecture, or are simply curious to look inside this special building, everyone is warmly welcome.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore the church at your own pace, discover more about its features and significance, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of a place that has provided a space for worship, reflection and community for many years. Some of our long-standing congregation members will also be offering free guided tours, sharing their knowledge and memories of the church and its place in the local community.
Our volunteers will be on hand to welcome visitors, share information and answer questions about the church’s history and connections with the local area. We hope your visit will inspire you to discover more about St Clement’s Church and the important role it continues to play today. Join us for this special opportunity to celebrate our shared heritage and experience a hidden piece of local history.
We look forward to welcoming you!
