St Augustine's is a friendly, welcoming church serving Undercliffe in BD3. We have Sunday worship at 10.00am and currently Canon Robin Gamble is taking the lead on this with Rosy Fairhurst, our Vicar and Rev Caroline Skelton also leading and preaching regularly.

We have a children's and youth worker, Anna Gulland, and are looking to grow our children's and youth work. We have just started a monthly youth group on the last Friday of each month in addition to our Sunday morning children's work. We work in partnership with St Clement's in our youth work, and also with Community Works for Ignite, our work with unaccompanied young asylum seekers.

St Augustine's building was redeveloped in a creative and beautiful way when Robin was Vicar  here and is light and practical and great for conferences, events and parties, especially with its beautiful walled garden in the ruins of the chancel of the original 1877 church.

Canon Denise Poole was the Vicar here leading the church into working with the community to buy the former St Augustine's Primary School to found Community Works, which has grown into a substantial project serving all parts of the community of Undercliffe.

We still have a church school link via Westminster School, where our school migrated to and merged with another to inhabit this purposebuilt school. Anna serves as a governor there.

We are rebuilding after the rigours of the pandemic. We currently have one small group - please contact Rosy on if you are interested in joining it.
